I have the pleasure and privilege to be Chairman of the 44 Club taking over from Peter Cast at the end of 2014, and I am all too aware of some very distinguished predecessors. I joined SMBP in 1968 and then migrated to Shell in 1976 and Shell International from 1980, from where I retired in 2006. I look back fondly on the early years in Shell-Mex House, and on the road in the East End as a National Benzole representative - very formative experiences but always supervised with care and attention. I hope to be welcoming you to this website for years to come - this organisation is alive and kicking! Rick Westley |
