Christmas Lunch – 13 December 2023
We had a new venue this year for our Christmas Lunch. 12 members met at the Little Haven Hotel, South Shields. The hotel staff were kept very busy with the many other parties that were taking place at the same time as ours, nevertheless the service and food was very good which everyone seemed to enjoy.

We had a new venue for our Christmas lunch this year – The Lakeland Inn, Jarrow. 15 members attended, it was so good to catch with old friends including some we haven't seen for some time.

I have just returned from the Sea View Hotel, South Shields where fourteen members met for our Christmas lunch; we haven't met there for quite some time because it's been closed for a total refurbishment. Everyone enjoyed the excellent meal followed by a gift for each member.
I take this opportunity to wish all 44 club members a very merry Christmas and happy and healthy 2022.

Christmas Lunch 2021
On 11th December 2019 19 members and guests gathered at The Sea Hotel, South Shields for our Christmas lunch .The food and service was of the usual high standard and enjoyed by everyone.
Each lady received a box of chocolates and the men a bottle of wine. Thanks to Keith and John for organising a very enjoyable afternoon. The hotel was certainly looking its best after a total refurbishment taking twelve months to complete

On Wednesday 12th December 16 members met at the New Crown Inn, South Shields for our Christmas lunch. A very tasty meal was enjoyed by everyone followed by lots of friendly banter. All the ladies were given a box of chocolates and the men a bottle of very nice wine.
